This Sea-Doo fuel pump mounting ring is CNC cut from billet 6061 series aluminum with internal and external interfaces that match OEM plastic fuel tanks. Specifically cut with buttress threads that match the OEM fuel pump retainer ring, and an internal diameter that tightly holds the OEM fuel pump gasket, this design is better able to hold a fuel pump in position than other available products. The wide flange along the bottom edge provides a good accessible weld joint. The flange is also a closer match to most fuel tank materials, making it easier to weld materials of similar thicknesses.
