The Minijet Rover is only available as a complete turn key boat built and sold by Minijet Inc. The Minijet Rover is not available as a DIY kit, and it is not available as a welded hull.
Each complete turn key Minijet Rover is built in compliance with all applicable Transport Canada and US Coast Guard regulations. Each Minijet Rover is built and sold with a; hull identification number and manufacturer's certificate of origin.
We like to give you a single quoted price for the construction of each of our boat models. For the Minijet Rover this package price is $72,994 CAD. This package price includes:
Engine Package
- Each Rover is equipped with a complete engine package. Our base package price includes a brand new 170hp naturally aspirated Rotax engine. Higher horsepower Rotax engines, and engines from other brands are also available as optional upgrades.
- We also offer our customers the option of choosing a used engine, or the option of supplying their own engine. We are willing to work with any type of engine that you are interested in!
13ft Minijet Rover Hull
Our standard Minijet Rover hull construction package includes:
- 1/4" thick 6061 AL bottom panel, 1/8" 5052 AL top and side panels.
- Integrated stepped lifting strakes along hull bottom for improved handling.
- Reverse chine with integrated chine reinforcing cap for improved cornering performance.
- 4 Standard box sections stringers for stiffness and strength.
- 3 Additional vertical stringers for added keel and centre section strength.
- Rear pump protection bars.
- High profile windscreen with walk through door
- Lightweight composite panels for engine cover, decking, flooring, and vertical bulkheads.
Minijet Cast Intake
- Each Rover is equipped with one of our cast jet drive intake housings. Each housing is machined and adapted to work with your choice of engine package and jet drive.
- Each intake is equipped with our standard fixed position intake grate that limits weed and debris ingress into the jet drive.
- EZ clean intake stomp grate and high performance intake grates are available as optional upgrades.
Rigging, Fuel, Cooling, Electrical Controls, etc.
- Our turn key package includes all of the labour, parts, and time associated with mounting and configuring the necessary engine support systems.
- Each Rover is equipped with an electric bilge pump, sand trap, and all necessary cooling components as standard,
- Options and extras for these systems are available as upgrades or modifications.
Minijet Steering Controls
- Each Rover includes our Minijet quick ratio steering helm, with a batwing style steering wheel, and a robust push-pull steering cable connected to the jet steering nozzle.
- Alternative steering products (wheels, helms, and steering nozzles) are available as optional upgrades
Minjet Finger Throttle Controls
- Our base Rover package includes finger throttle controls mounted to a steering wheel for easy access and quick throttle response at the pull of a trigger.
- Console throttle, friction throttle, and foot throttle products are all available upon request.
Minijet Trim & Reverse Controls
- Our base Rover package included electronic trim and reverse controls. Manual cable controls, or electronic systems will be adapted as needed.
- Aftermarket trim and reverse products are available as optional upgrades.
Seating
- Each Rover is equipped with four premier low back suspension bucket seats.
- Each seat is custom made to order with your choice of colours, fabrics, etc.
- Alternative seat styles, seat upgrades, and stitching patterns are available upon request.
Appearance - Vinyl Wrap
- Each Rover is wrapped in a single colour vinyl wrap in any colour of your choice.
- Patterned, textured, metallic, printed, and custom vinyl design options are available as an optional upgrades.
- Paint and powdercoat options are also available upon request.
Appearance - Foam Decking
- All upper deck surfaces and potential foot touch points on the Rover are covered in a soft EVA foam decking material from Hydro-Turf. It is available in a large range of colours and pattern choices.
- Custom CNC cut foam decking is available as an optional upgrade on all boats.
- Personalized decking designs and patterns are available upon request.
