ORDERS

Inventory

  • While we do our best to maintain an accurate inventory, we are committed to notifying you in the event of any discrepancies or un-expected backorders.
  • Kits, Welded Hulls and Turn-Key boats are generally customized to each order and as such are subject to longer lead times. Please contact us for current estimated lead times.

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed in the order in which they are received. We aim to process orders the same day or next business day, but they can take up to 5 business days to complete for in-stock items.
    • Selecting expedited / express shipping does not shorten this processing period, this only takes effect once the carrier has received your package
    • Out of stock, special-order, or back-order items may exceed the 5 business day order processing timeline 

SHIPPING

General Information

  • If your order includes items that are both in-stock at our facility and special-order / back-order, your complete order will ship together once all items have arrived at our facility.

    • Orders will not be split unless explicitly requested. Additional shipping fees may apply for multiple shipments.

Shipping Carriers

We work with a variety of shipping carriers to maximize speed and minimize cost

  • In the event that your order cannot be shipped with the selected carrier, we may use an alternate carrier to complete your shipment
  • If a shipment must / must not be shipped with a certain carrier, please inform us in the order comments

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your items dimensions, the available box sizes into which they can be packaged, and the shipping destination

Change of Address

  • A change of address may be requested up until the time the shipping label is created

Tracking Information

  • Tracking information will be shared once your package has been received by the shipping carrier
    • We recommend checking your email’s spam folder if you expected to receive your tracking information but have not yet seen it

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Please take photos of:
    • All 6 sides of the package as you received it
    • The opened package, showing the items as-packed with all of the packaging materials (including filler) as you received it
    • The damaged item
  • Contact us via email at sales@minijet.ca within 5 business days of delivery, including all of the aforementioned images, and all paperwork (bill of lading, shipping labels, packing slip, etc.)

Please note: discarding any packaging materials including filler while your claim is ongoing may void your claim request

Missing/Incorrect Items

If your package is missing an item:

  • Please take photos of:
    • The opened package, showing the items as-packed with all of the packaging materials (including filler) as you received it
    • Any damage to the package if present
  • Contact us via email at sales@minijet.ca within 5 business days of delivery, including all of the aforementioned images, and all paperwork (bill of lading, shipping labels, packing slip, etc.)

Missing Packages

If you suspect your package is missing:

  • We recommend contacting the shipping carrier within 30 days of the original shipping date if the shipping address is within North America

    • If your delivery address is outside of North America, your delivery may take more time as standard speed shipments can take up to 12 weeks

Inbound shipments must be sent to the following address:

  • The shipping manifest must clearly state the contents, purpose, and order number associated with the shipment
    • Examples of contents include: Minijet Finger Throttle, Yamaha driveshaft, Solas impeller, etc.
    • Examples of purpose include: return, core, part for repair, part for modification, etc. 
  • All costs and fees associated with shipping, taxes, broker, duty, tariffs etc. incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer and in the case of a refund will be deducted from the refundable balance.

Shipments Outside of Canada

  • For packages delivered to the USA, please see our U.S. Shipping & Tariffs Policy for more information
  • For packages delivered to countries besides the USA where inbound articles are subject to duties or tariffs, the customer is responsible for payment of all such fees in the manner that the carrier admits them (most often C.O.D.)

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS

Cancellation Eligibility

Orders can only be cancelled only if the following conditions are met

  1. Order is pending shipment (a tracking number has not yet been shared)
  2. Products ordered are not special order / made to order

Orders that are not eligible for cancellation are subject to the Return Policy outlined below. For any further assistance, please contact us by email at sales@minijet.ca.

Return Eligibility

Parts can only be returned if the following conditions are met

  1. Products purchased were new
  2. Products are not special order / made to order
  3. Products must not have been modified, disassembled, or damaged due to negligence, incorrect installation, or user error
  4. It has been less than 30 days since the delivery date of the products at the time you request a return

Returns are subject to a 20% restocking & processing fee, in addition to any and all fees outlined in the Inbound Shipments Policy above.

Request a Cancellation or Return

Order cancellation and product return requests must be sent to sales@minijet.ca while meeting the above stated criteria to initiate a cancellation / return

REFUNDS

Refund Process

Once approved your refund will be administered according to the following:

  • Refunds are normally processed and credited within 1-2 business days after we receive your part(s)
    • Returns from the USA may take longer to process as we must receive all inbound shipping invoices or communications from the carrier before the refund can be released 
  • Once the returned part(s) has/have been inspected and processed, the refund will be credited to the payment method you used to buy the item(s) you ordered.
  • You will receive a “credit approved” e-mail the day your refund is processed.
  • If the purchase was made with a debit or credit card it may take an additional 1-30 business day(s) for your financial institution to reflect the credit back on your account.

Store Credit

In cases where a store credit is issued, please bear the following in mind:

  • Store credits must be applied to orders over the phone at (613) 605 2628 before paying via the online store
